The exhibition will be accompanied by programmes and talks relating to Joseon Korea and contemporary Korean culture; as well as a work by South Korean contemporary artist Ran Hwang, best known for using pins, buttons, and thread to create large-scale installations.
Joseon Korea: Court Treasures and City Life will be held at Asian Civilisations Museum from 22 April to 23 July 2017.

Catch award-winning Korean percussion ensemble Noreum Machi perform exciting Korean folk music and dances. Sample free makgeolli on Friday and kimbap on Saturday. Finish off your Saturday with workshops on kimchi-making workshop and Korean folk music.

Fact or fiction – was Joseon Korea really like what you see in dramas and movies? Join exhibition curators Kan Shuyi or Dominic Low as they unravel the truth and get exclusive behind the scenes insights into the Joseon dynasty.
A minimum of 15 people is needed to proceed. Payment must be made at Front Desk or Peatix before the closing date. Registration closes a day before each tour.
