Jackson Wang’s first solo sold-out concert — MAGIC MAN WORLD TOUR — landed in Singapore and drew a 10,000-strong crowd for a spectacular evening.
The magic man himself presented more than anyone could ever ask for in a 2-hour concert. Jackson is a multi-hyphenated artiste that promised and delivered. Musicality, artistry and raw emotions — all in one package. This man’s dedication to his craft shone through at his first-ever solo concert — featuring fan favourites such as “LMLY”, “Blow”, “Dopamine”, and “I LOVE YOU 3000”. SHINE NOW 2019 – Organised by Gushcloud and powered by the National Youth Council, the 2-day "unconference" was put together by a team of passionate individuals who wanted to have a conference that did not come across as intimidating. Basically, think TED Talk but in an entirely chill and informal setting with bean bags aside from the usual seating arrangement.
Through the various panel talks, keynote sessions and workshops, the SHINE NOW aimed to encourage youths to step out of their comfort zones and connect with people that inspire them. Reason being, through a prior conducted survey among their targeted audience it was found that youths were not confident about chasing their dreams and were not keen to attend conferences due to its intimidating nature. Many arrived hours ahead of the press conference, eager to secure a good spot to catch a glimpse of their favourites. Skechers Sundown Festival has musically united countries from around the region since 2014 and is one of the largest music festivals in Singapore. This year’s edition evolved into a 3D2N party that sported a full-blown participation from around the region, coming together to showcase and celebrate all things Asian.
With more than 50 Asian artists coming together to form the stellar line-up, the 3D2N festival successfully wrapped with one of the hottest acts from Korea. "Let's have fun tonight!" – and fun did we have when headliners of Utopia stage, iKON, treated festival goers to explosive performances that hyped up Day 3 of Skechers Sundown Festival 2019. Formed by YG Entertainment, the seven-member South Korean boy band made their debut in 2015 though reality survival program, Mix & Match. Returning to Singapore as just Ong Seong Wu, the super charming and confident solo artiste – and former Wanna-One member – treated his fans to a night of intimate dialogues as well as powerful dance and vocal performances.
Ong Seong Wu <ETERNITY> 1st Fanmeeting in Singapore marked the last stop of Ong’s Eternity Tour – in contrary to the still condition of BIG BOX, the event hall was filled with fans from around the region that kept the energy level up at an all time high throughout the fanmeet.
