As one of the two Singaporeans – along with Natasha Low – who successfully joined the K-Pop industry under Alpha Entertainment, Ferlyn Wong definitely made Singapore proud. Formerly a member of Korean-Singaporean girl group, SKarf, Ferlyn returned to Singapore to pursue a solo career where she can express herself through her own style of music more freely.
Going by the name of Ferlyn G for her solo debut, she ventured into the Mando-Pop industry and recently launched her solo single, <FIRST>, after leaving SKarf last September.
Ferlyn G’s solo single includes three tracks – title tracks ‘Luv Talk’ feat. TinyG’s MINT (Korean Version) and ‘心放开’ (Chinese Version), as well as ballad track, ‘不见不散’. ‘Luv Talk’/’心放开’ was composed by Gen Neo, a Singaporean composer and producer of Noizebank who is based in South Korea. Gen Neo has previously composed f(x)’s Goodbye Summer and Henry Lau’s 1-4-3.
