Greeting us at the press conference of his first Asia Fan Meeting Tour ‘Guess Who?’, Park Seo Jun shared more about himself, bromance and even kiss scenes in his dramas!
K-drama junkies should be no stranger to Park Seo Jun, who played roles in popular dramas such as Kill Me Heal Me, She Was Pretty, Hwarang and Fight For My Way. Some might even recognise him from his latest cinematic work, Midnight Runners.

He has done countless kiss scenes and surprisingly, he says that he doesn’t do any special preparations – he just tries to think in the characters’ shoes, and if he does that well, then good scenes are made.
When asked about how he got his “Nation’s Boyfriend” title, Seo Jun was genuinely at a loss for words. After a long pause, he responded, “Saying this myself is a little embarrassing, but it should be my honesty… isn’t it? If it isn’t, I’m curious what others might think it is.”
His friendships with Kang Ha Neul and Lee Kwang Soo is also widely known among the fans and when asked, he said that he was very thankful that he had the chance to work with them.
“They’re really good people, and I still keep in contact with them. If nothing happens, I wish to remain as their friend forever,” he continued.
Awww, seems like their bromance continues off-screen as well!

Stealing The Hearts of Singapore Fans
With his rising popularity thanks to the aforementioned hit projects, Park Seo Jun was able to meet Singapore fans through a solo fanmeet and show a different side of himself through various activities and performances.
Fans were squealing with excitement when snippets of Seo Jun’s past drama characters – Ji Sung Joon from She Was Pretty, and Oh Ri On from Kill Me, Heal Me – were featured in the opening video before the actor appeared on stage to greet fans.
The night full of surprises started off with a sharing session where fans were treated to Behind-The-Scenes tidbits from some of his past acting projects and a glimpse into his life through unreleased photos. Not to mention, Seo Jun was as adorable as a kid! Moving from a couch to the makeshift elevated steps setting on stage, the atmosphere was extremely laid-back and intimate.
A photo of Park Seo Jun and Kang Ha Neul dressed smartly in police attire from Midnight Runners appeared on screen and Seo Jun was asked to rate himself on how he looked in the attire from 1 to 100, 100 being the most good-looking. He unabashedly proclaimed without hesitation, “500/100!” Talk about brimming confidence! Well, who wouldn’t agree? with that rating anyway. We’re pretty sure everyone agrees that Seo Jun would look good in anything!
On bagging the Best Male Actor award for his performance in the film recently at the 54th Daejong Film Awards, Seo Jun said that it was only possible thanks to the fans’ support.
Seo Jun was asked to give advice to those who are unsure about pursuing their dreams, and he referred to a scene from Fight For My Way, where his character shouted his resolution at a crossroad. This scene was particularly meaningful to him and he hoped that he was able to convey a message to the viewers through his character - “If you want to pursue something, you should do it, you won’t know if you don’t try.” He believed that if he was able to show it through his character, it means he has succeeded as an actor.
Seo Jun’s character in Fight For My Way was a hot topic that night as Singapore fans also got to see him re-enact an iconic aegyo scene with Kim Ji Won’s character, Choi Ae Ra from the show. Cue the screaming fans. Everyone instantly whipped out their phones just so they could capture the moment.
Who knew Seo Jun could cook too? He personally prepared pasta on the spot for two very lucky fans in a dinner date setting on stage. How often do you get the chance to sit in front of your favourite oppa and have him cook for you? He did not forget about those seated in the crowd too. To the fans’ delight, he spontaneously received questions and requests from the crowd while cooking on stage.
He also showed off his decent singing chops with an encore stage, performing songs like “Girl” from Reply 1988 and “Come To My Heart” from Witch’s Romance. Acting, cooking and even singing. Is there anything this heartthrob can’t do?
On his future plans, Seo Jun shared that fans will definitely get to see more of him next year as there are more acting projects in the pipeline. Feeling blessed to be at the height of his career, he expressed his heartfelt thanks towards fans and hopes to greet them with better projects in the future.
The night ended with a GOODBYE Hi-Touch session with all his fans and a Meet & Greet session for the lucky ones. If there’s one thing we took away from the actor’s fanmeet, it was that this hard-working actor will definitely go far with his humble and down to earth personality.
Our hearts were won over by his overflowing charisma and we can’t wait for Seo Jun to return to Singapore with his new works!
